Edward T James & Company was established in April 2008 by us, Chris Polawski and Simon Bullivent. We are fully qualified to advise in all areas of personal financial planning and work closely together (two heads are better than one) on all client matters and reviews. We also both have a special interest in Trustee Investment, managing a good number of trust funds where detailed specialist knowledge is required. For all our clients we will work closely with other professionals such as solicitors and accountants to ensure that all channels are open to help meet client objectives.
We have more than 36 years experience in financial services between us. One of our key aims in forming this practice was to prove that provision of a professional advice service can exceed our clients' expectations and what they are used to. To do this, we strongly believe that client interests are best served if there is no large parent company or shareholders in the background, whose prime motivation is profit. Our clients tell us that we have succeeded in this aspiration. Looking to the future, we are committed to working closely with our clients to continually improve our service and will only allow growth of our firm if it is ‘organic’ and where we will be able to retain full control of our service and its’ quality.
Our premises are modern, spacious and offer easy access from Falmouth and the surrounding area with ample parking facilities for our clients. Our conference room is designed to comfortably host meetings individually or in larger numbers, this being particularly helpful for bringing trustees and professional advisers together for undisturbed, meaningful dialogue.
As professionally qualified advisers we are committed to continuously develop and improve our skills and knowledge. We are members of The Personal Finance Society (PFS) and subscribe to their Professional Code of Ethics and Conduct, in addition to the Financial Services Authority (FSA) Principles of Business.
“Quality begins on the inside... and then works its way out.” Bob Moawad
